This residential ashram school has been established for the poor students of Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes. As per the Government rules, admission is free in this ashram school. This Ashram School is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and is run under the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance. A total of 120 resident students have been sanctioned from classes 1 to 7. Every year all the seats are filled. We are sorry that we have to deny further admission due to lack of space.

Facilities

These students are provided beddings / mattresses, blankets and bed sheets. Plates, glasses, bowl, spoons are provided for meals. School uniforms (two), towels, textbooks - notebooks, compass boxes, slates, pencils and other stationery are provided free of cost. Equipped computer room, Science laboratory, library, e-learning facility, first aid kit are there along with water purifier for providing pure drinking water has been installed. Hand- wash station, solar power project for hot water for bathing, wind power project for regular uninterrupted electricity, separate accommodation and toilets / bathrooms for boys and girls, biogas project, 24 hours water availability and CCTV cameras for the security of the students have been installed in the premises.

Future needs

1. Build a security Compound wall.
2. Completion of construction of school building.
3. Construction of cultural center.
4. Materials for school (Sports, cultural activities and other essentials needed for school.)

About 40 Kilometers from Pune, about 1 Kilometer from Pune -Nagar Highway the school can be reached from Pune Municipal Corporation by bus number 159, Anandashram School Bus Stop.
